Ruby Elizabeth (DeReynolds) Beaver

Ruby DeReynolds Beaver, 96 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 9th.  Ruby was in hospice care for several weeks.  She was struck with Covid in her last days.

Ruby was born in Mecklenburg County, Mint Hill, NC on August 19, 1925.  Ruby was a homemaker.  She loved to cook and work in her yard.  She enjoyed time with her neighbors and family.

In her earlier years, Ruby loved to go to the coast and fish.

Ruby was a charter member of Memorial United Methodist Church.  Ruby was active with the Methodist woman.  She would set up meals for families when members of her church passed away.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Vickie Beaver Belcher and Son in Law, Tom Belcher and grand doggie, Allie.  She is also survived by her nephew Daniel (Ricky) Ricketts and his wife Judy White Ricketts.  All of Charlotte.  Niece, Linda Yarborough of China Grove, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Blanche Robinson DeReynolds and Frederick G DeReynolds. Her husband, James D Beaver and son James Beaver, Jr.  Ruby was also preceded in death by her sister, Mildred DeReynolds Ricketts.
