Senora Williams Obituary

Senora “Clarice” Williams, age 71 of Charlotte,  North Carolina, passed away Thursday March 5, 2026. Clarice was born in Charlotte on January 20, 1955 to the late Clarence and Joann Crump . 

Clarice attended CMS schools in her youth. She was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic. Where she became a member of the choir and A Prayer Warrior for The Ladies Prayer Band. Clarice was a packer for Mitchums Potato Chips. She then provided child care for children in her home for several years for many families while they worked. She then went into starting her own residential cleaning service which she did for many years. She enjoyed shooting on pool leagues where she made several friends throughout the years especially at “The Getaway”. She loved NASCAR and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt.   

She is survived by her granddaughter Shelby Williams, Grandson Richard Williams (Jayanna), adopted granddaughter Chantel Hughes (Jayson) daughter in law Natasha Williams. Sister Diane Taylor (Sonny) Brother Chuck Crump (Barbara). Her two great granddaughters Ariana and Halo Williams. Along with a. Number of other loving relatives and friends. 

 

Besides her parents , Clarice was proceeded in death by her son Duane Williams.,  best friends Rosey Parker, Suzanne Burgess Wiley, and Barbara Hinley.  They were all friends since elementary school.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic, 600 E 36th st Charlotte NC 28205..

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14th at the church from 11AM-12 Noon.  A service will begin at 12 Noon to honor Clarice's Life.  Burial wilt take place in Evergreen City Cemetery

Clarice will be remembered for her amazing smile that would light up a room and her straight forward attitude. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Acknowledgments: The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Kelly with Atrium Home Health, who came out every Monday to visit with Clarice, Levine and Dickson Hospice House of Charlotte. The doctors and nurses at Atrium Mercy, and all the members of The Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic.
