Serafin Castro

Serafin Castro, loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather, passed away on February 21, 2021 surrounded by family. Serafin had a kind spirit and a heart of gold. To know him was to love him. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone.

He enjoyed fishing, delighted in eating seafood and tacos, and treasured spending time with family. He was a restaurateur and quite the bartender! Serafin was very social, he enjoyed getting to know and creating relationships with his customers. He was an avid Chivas (Liga Mx) fan and loved to watch the Carolina Panther games. 

Serafin is survived by his wife, four daughters, son, four wonderful grandchildren, several cousins, and siblings. Visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 at Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm with a prayer service to follow. 

A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Rd. Charlotte, NC 28211.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
