Stavros "Steve" Politis

Stavros  "Steve" Politis, 88 of Charlotte passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Harris Hospice.  Born in Green on December 4, 1933, Stavros was born to the late Hlias and Helen Traskelis Politis.

In 1974 Steve and his wife the late Pinelopi moved from Toronto, Canada to Charlotte.   Steve worked on the assembly line at Lance for many years.   

He is preceded in death by his wife Pinelopi.  Survivors include his 2 children  Loues of Charlotte, Helen  (John) Liontas of Lakeland, Fl., 2 grandchildren  John Michael Thomas Liontas and Lisa Marie Liontas. Also surviving are his 2 brothers Pete and Angelo Politis and sister Theodora Tsoulos

Services will take place on Monday, August 8, 2022 starting with the visitation from 10-11AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral followed by a funeral service with Reverend Dr. Jonathan Resmini, presiding.  Burial will take place at Evergreen City Cemetery.   May his memory be eternal.
