Stephanie Ann (Stevens) Hanner

Stephanie Stevens Hanner, age 73, passed away March 15, 2023, in Charlotte after suffering from a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born June 10, 1949, of Raleigh  to Marvin and Dixie Lee Stevens.

Stephanie will be remembered for her selfless love for her family and others. She had the purest heart ever. She was the type of person that would sacrifice her own needs just to give to others. She was fun, humorous and her positive spirit would always light up the room. Not only did people naturally love spending time with her, but she was neat, organized, resilient, always positive, and known to be the first one to wake up every morning bright and early ready to start her day with a loving attitude.

Stephanie attended Peace College in Raleigh, and she worked as a realtor with Fonville Morrisey for over twenty years.  Her success was attributed to her persistent passion for helping others. She also had a very creative side and keen eye for detail. She enjoyed art, music, painting, and decorating. But her favorite thing of all was spending time with her two daughters in Charlotte and all her grandchildren.

Stephanie is predeceased by her mother and father, Dixie and Marvin Stevens. She is survived by her two daughters Alexandra (Heath) Byrd and Courtney (Morgan) Hundrieser both in Charlotte NC, her four grandchildren, Heath, Tate, Renn, and Cooper, her sister Malinda (Larry) Adams in Emerald Isle NC, two nieces and one nephew.

A small private service with family only will be held at the Village Chapel of Bald Head Island on April 23, 2023 2:00 pm at 105 Light House Wynd, Bald Head Island, NC 28461.

Her genuine, loving and kind spirit will always be remembered.
