She was born in Ronoake, Virginia on March 25, 1956 to the late Martin and Ruby (Testerman) Vest. Tina worked as a Registered Nurse many years

Tina is survived by her husband James Jackson; daughter Angela Gist; sister Mary Frances Broughman and grandson Landen Gist.
