Victoria Dorothy Paradis, 103, died Sunday, September 17 in Charlotte, N.C. She was born in 1920 in Windsor, N.D.. When she was 19 years old she moved to New York state where she met her husband and raised three children. In 1980 they relocated to Charlotte.
She enjoyed sewing and quilting with her friends and belonged to the Charlotte Quilters Guild for several years. Her quilting skills earned her many awards including at the international quilt show in Paducah, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde, her son Russell, two sisters and three brothers.
Surviving is her son, Greg (Patty) Paradis of Charlotte, and her daughter, Diane (Leland) Craig of California. Victoria had five grandchildren; Vickie Lang, Robert and Thomas Paradis, James Craig, and Amy Carlson. There are nine great grandchildren.
Victoria will be buried next to her beloved husband at Sharon Memorial Park Cemetery, Charlotte.
