Charles Edwin Turner

          Charles Turner passed away peacefully Tuesday Aug. 9th from complications of late stages of Alzheimer's. He was 80 years of age . He was preceded in death by wife Ursula , his mother Ovada Painter and step-father Val Painter, and is survived by his daughter Karen Annette Craig and husband Mike , and by his son Norman D. Turner. Also survived by grandchildren Kristen Craig Still and husband Kevin , Wesley Aaron Craig and wife Heather and their  children Jaxon and Callie. Friends and family will be received for visitation from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Carolina Funeral Service and Cremation Center.5505 Monroe Rd. Charlotte N.C. 28212. A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park beginning at 11:30 am. 5716 Monroe Rd. Charlotte N.C. 28212. In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to Hospice Care services or any Alzheimer's Research organization of your choosing. May he rest in peace .
