I just learned of Rudy's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of your loved one. Although I did not know him personally, I do have his book that you mentioned and he sent it to my Mother in 1994. He signed it to my Mother who was researching our family tree. His book is used as a a reference as proof of my ancestor Phineas Latham by the Mayflower Society in tracing my lineage back to the Mayflower. Believe me, his book and research is important to all who are tracing their family history and is invaluable and I will cherish it always.

I knew Rudy since 1978 when he helped me build a home in Carmel Woods when I moved to Charlotte with IBM. We were good friends.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Rudy...I enjoyed talking with Rudy on 2nd floor at Asbury...He always would smile for me and greet me.
