Yasmine, it has taken me a few days to post something here. I am struggling with the reality of losing you. There are so many happy memories, whispered girl talks, secret laughs over sharing so many favorite things. I treasure all the conversations we had, especially in the last few months, when you so freely expressed your love and confided in me. I loved you every day of your life and I shall love your son, Trevor, every day of his. You were such a nurturing and proud Mother to him. I plan to read all of our favorite Peter Rabbit stories to him, along with Frog and Toad, and will tell him about your laugh and how you always brought sunshine into any room you entered. My beautiful, precious daughter, I was proud to be your Mother in life and shall always remain your Mother forever and ever...

Carol, I happened to see the notice about Yasmine's death. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. Although I did not know her as an adult, I'm certain she was a lovely woman and a loss to all who knew her well. You have my sympathy,

My beautiful sister, this is just unbearable. You were so loved. I miss you so much. I will see you one day and we will be back playing together just like we did when we were little.
