Shannon,
I can't imagine how much you will miss you Mom. She was a spirited woman with a zest for life and I know the world is a little less bright without her here. She so loved you and Cole- what a joy you both brought to her. I still have my camel shirt she sent to me years ago because she knew how much I loved Wednesdays :)
Peace to you and your family during this time. What a special person she was to know.
Sincerely,
Paige

I met Shirley when I came to AdvanceMed in 2003. Was always a delight to talk with and she loved talking about her grandson Cole. I know she has been ill for a while. Prayers for all of you at this time.

Well I have always been a part of your family. We shared so much and I probably spent every Friday night at your house on Carolina Ave , Arlington St and Main St. With Shirley and Motty n one twin bed and Kitty and me in the other....when our giggles started here comes ur mom with that belt and we all got it but we had good covers for protection! We have plenty of memories! Love to all of you..... Jerre

I am so sorry to hear about Shirley. She talked about you and Cole all the time, and I know you both meant the world to her. I know nothing I can say will make you feel better right now. I know you helped dialyze her which was a wonderful thing to take on for her. And Cole was always the light of her life. Please know I will keep her and you, in my prayers.

My family and I will deeply miss Shirley, because of her warm and kind heart. She is and will always be a light in the dark, a hand to hold unto when in trouble, a face that brings peace to a confused mind. She is and will always be an example of what a stranger would call "An American". May your examples of kindness and generosity pervade these uncertain times, and may Christ continue to shine his light upon your family.

I will miss my big sister, our rock growing up and always there to give good advice!
A sad day, but I am happy she is now free of pain. Love always, Kitty
